I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your letter (NL-20-050), dated June 24, 2020 (ADAMS No.: ML20178A486)1, in response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) letter dated April 23, 2020 (ML20113F066), Safety Evaluation and Supporting Analysis Regarding the Algonquin Incremental Market Project Pipeline Near the Indian Point Energy Center, Units 2 and 3.
The NRC will review your revised 10 CFR 50.59 Safety Evaluation and associated Hazards Analysis and conduct a follow up inspection this month. Mr. Mel Gray of my staff will coordinate the details of the inspection with your staff. The results of this inspection will be provided in a publicly available inspection report.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available 1 Designation refers to an Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) accession number.
