VERIFICATION OF ACCEPTED VERSION OF NEDO-11209 REVISION 15, GE HITACHI NUCLEAR ENERGY QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION (EPID L-2020-TOP-0023)
Dear Ms. Catts:
By letter dated May 29, 2020 (Letter No. M200077, Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20150A336), GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) submitted the accepted Non-Proprietary approval (-A) version of Topical Report (TR)
NEDO-11209A, Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD), Revision 15, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. GEH has done so in accordance with our request to publish an approved version of this TR, as detailed in the transmittal (ADAMS Accession No. ML20140A332) of the NRC staffs final safety evaluation (SE) (ADAMS Accession No. ML20140A322) pertaining to the submittal of Licensing TR, NEDO-11209A, Revision 15, dated April 29, 2020 (Accession No. ML20120A553).
The NRC staff has completed its review of the approval version of the TR. The NRC staff verified that GEH has met the requirements and determined that the submitted -A is acceptable for referencing in licensing applications for nuclear power plants to the extent specified and under the limitations delineated in the TR. TR NEDO-11209A, "Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD)," Revision 15, is now approved for use in future licensing actions as specified in the final SE.
