Thank you for your June 12, 2020 letter regarding whether NRC should resume rulemaking to amend its regulations governing the domestic licensing of source material by codifying general requirements to address groundwater protection at uranium in situ recovery facilities. As you are aware, the Commission has not yet provided staff with direction on this potential rulemaking.
