APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT NO. 8 TO THE MODEL NO. NAC-UMS STORAGE CASK - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Fowler:
By letter dated December 18, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Package Accession No. ML20006D749), as supplemented on April 24, 2020 (ADAMS Package Accession No. ML20122A201, NAC International (NAC) submitted an application for Amendment No. 8 to the Model No. NAC-UMS storage cask. The application proposes to add damaged boiling-water reactor spent fuel, drawing changes, and the addition of low burnup, undamaged 10x10 fuel assemblies, and high burnup damaged and undamaged 8x8, 9x9, and 10x10 fuel assemblies.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosure to this letter.
The request for additional information (RAI) requested in this letter should be submitted in the form of revised safety analysis report pages. Please provide your response within 2 months from the date of this letter.
Please reference Docket No. 72-1015 and Enterprise Project Identifier (EPID) No.
