INTERVENORS' MOTION FOR LEAVE TO FILE ANSWER INSTANTER Intervenors Rorem et al.,
by their undersigned attorney, pursuant to 10 CFR S2.730(c), hereby move for leave to file instanter the attached Answer To Applicant's Motion For Reforma-tion of Commission Order filed May 5,1986.
The grounds of Intervenors' Motion are as follows:
1.
Applicant's May 5 Motion was filed some 45 days af ter service of the Commission's March 21 Order, which Applicant's Motion seeks to reform.
2.
Applicant's May 5 Motion was filed on the eve of the evidentiary hearings in this case, which began May 6.
Inter-venors' counsel were fully occupied by the evidentiary hearings that week.
Intervenors' counsel have since been so occupied by depositions, factual preparation for the hearings scheduled to resume May 27, and other matters, that we have been unable to file the attached Answer sooner than today.

No harm to Applicant and no delay to the proceeding will result from granting Intervenors' Motion for leave to file the attached Answer.
Applicant's Motion To Reform, and Intervenors' Answer thereto, concern only the reasoning of the Commission's March 21 Order, not its result.
No matter how the Commission l
disposes of Applicant's Motion, the ruling will have no effect on the course of this proceeding.
4.
Applicant's counsel has advised Intervenors that Appli-cant has no obiection to this Motion for leave to file instanter.
WHEREFORE, Intervenors respectfully request leave to file the attached Answer instanter.
