Proposed Technical Specification Change-SR 5.0 and SR 5.2.1
Dear Mr. Calvo:
This letter submits preposec changes to the Fort St. Vrain Technical Specifications, SR 5.0 ard SR 5.2.1.
The change to SR 5.2.1, "PCRV and PCRV Penetration Overpressure Protection Surveillance," reflects the NRC's request tha*. the test of the safety valves be in accordance with applicable ASWE Cede requirements, which includes the flexibility of valve testing eitner in place or on the bench.
h Tne change to SR 5.0, "$urveillance Reauirements," will add a new ISI Criterion to explain implementatior requirements, which will allow an orcerly transition to the new surveillance schedule.
A surrary of the proposed charges is proviced in Attachment 1, and i
the changer tnemselves are provicec in Attatnment 2.
Attachrent 3 contains the Significant Hacarcs Consideration for the proposed Changes.
