NAVAL NUCLEAR FUEL DIVISION - OBSERVATION OF LICENSEE'S ACTIVITIES RELATIVE TO THE REGULATORY PROCESS This confirms the telephone conversation between you and Mr. K. P. Barr of my staff concerning a management meeting to be held at your office on May 28, 1986.

The time of the meeting was established as 9:00 'a.m.

A proposed meeting agenda is enclosed.

We requested this meeting to review the results of the NRC observations of your activities relative to the regulatory process for your Naval Nuclear Fuel Division facility.

These observations involved an appraisal of your regulatory performance by selected NRC managers.

Your regulatory performance was evaluated
