Gentlemen:
On January 6,1988, we notified you via our report logged TXX-88016, of a reportable deficiency involving platforms and supports which may be overstressed. Our last report was logged TXX-88176, dated February 5, 1988.

room support struct'Jre are now expectei to be completed by February 28, 1989.
t The estimated completion date for hardware modifications for the affected Unit 1 platforms / supports listed in TXX-88016 has been revised to May 1, 1989.
As previously stated in TXX-88176, any additional overstressed installations identified during PCHVP will be redesigned to correct the overstress conditions. All modifications to Seismic Category I and 11 steel structures in Unit I resulting from PCHVP will be completed by May 1, 1989.
Activities associated with Unit 2 will be completed by Unit 2 fuel load.
