Enclosed is an application for an export license received recently by the NRC for the export of natural uranium to Canada for conversion from U 0 to UF6 and return to the United States. 38 A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated. The applicant is requesting expeditious handling of the export request in order to meet a mid-June shipping commitment.
