Application Fee for Masonry Hall Design Gentlemen:
Your letter, Reference (c), requested, pursuant to 10 CFR 170, an application fee of $150.00 which was not remitted with our letter Reference (b).
Reference (b), which documents our consequence analysis for the failure of the south wall of the spent fuel pool for IE Bulletin 80-11, Masonry Hall Design, was prepared and submitted in response to a request from Maine Yankee's Project Manager at ONRR.
Maine Yankee has not requested an evaluation of the consequence analysis contained in Reference (b). He do not believe an application fee of $150.00 pursuant to 10 CFR 170 is required. He request that you reevaluate your determination that an application fee is required.
