Dear Mr. Michaels,

As we discussed yesterday I have verified with the Manhattan College Provost, Dr. Weldon

- Jackson, that he second $30,000 deposit has been made to the reactor decommissioning fund as described in his letter to you ofJuly 16,1998.

In addition, the statement regarding release of material from the facility in section 3.2.2 ofthe Decommissioning Plan (pg.22) should read as follows:

Equipment and material will only be released for unrestricted use ifit contains no detectable licensed radioactive materials when surveyed with appropriate equipment and instrumentation.
