20555 Dear Mr. Zecht I write to you regarding the reopening of the Peach Bottom nuclear power plant.
As you know, the Governor of Pennsylvania has requested public hearings on the reopening of Peach Bottom.
By an overwhelming majority, the people of Southeastern Pennsylvania are concerned about the potential hazards posed by the plant.
My congressional district is part of that concerned community.
Accordingly, I would like to know what plans the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has with respect to Feach Bottom, and in particular, when the NRC plans to act on the Governor's request for public hearing.
This matter is one of my foremost concerns and I hope I will have a reply from you as soon as possible.
