a Dr. J. Nelson Grace SPR 86-005 Page Two April 7, 1986 EVENT DESCRIPTION On March 21, 1965, routine review of meteroJogical data indicated a possible failure of the 61 to 10 meter differential temperature (AT) detection system.
Licensee investigation determined the problem was an aspirator fan power supply cord that had become entangled in the fan blade and resistance i
temperature detector system (RTO's) that had drifted outside the l
allowable limits.
CORRECTIVE ACTION The fan power cord was rerouted and tied down. The RTO calibration curves were verified to correlate to the hardware. The RTD's were reinstalled and the system calibration verified. On April 3, 1986 the meterological AT system was returned to operability l
