Enclosed for your reference are copies of the staff's evaluation report on the General Atomics (GA) decontamination activities for the unrestricted release of about 277 acres. The land has been decontaminated to below NRC's target criteria. The NRC contractor's Oak Ridge Associated Universities (0RAU) confirmatory survey reports are also enclosed.

If you do not have any problems with the reports, we plan to issue the license amendment authorizing the land release by June 20, 1988.
