Dear Secretary:
1 Jun 88 ref: nuke.6a8 I am writing to support the immediate low power operation of the Seabrook Station.
I believe the installation of emergency sirens are. completely uhnecessary for this testing to be performed.(
Please let's get the U S Nuclear Power Program moving again.
g Compliments to you for so thoroughly considering even the most trivial opposition of Nuclear Power,.
Now it's time to get our Nuclea/ ' electric generating stations operating and making our U S power stations a.
showplace for the rest of the world.
I believe it's a National disgrace to see Stations such as Seabrook and Shoreham idle and not utilized.
I am a registered professional engineer and I have studied the Nuclear Energy issues carefully.
I urge you to advance with a
policy and program that empowers these finished Stations to get up and running.
Sincerely yours, Paul R. Beswick Mass Reg Prof Eng 11822 days 800-354-5014 128 Topsfield Road, Ipswich, Ma 01938 l
