Dear Mr. Rudis:
Thank you for your letter dated April 21, 1988 which provided further informa-tion in response to Inspection Report No. 99900836/87-01. The response was adequate and no additional infonnation is required. However, while your response to the Notice of Nonconformance (NON) Part A (87-01-04) correctly referenced the audits that are required to be perfonned to verify approved subvendors' QA programs, your response should also have included reference to Appendix B, Criterion !Y which requires that procurement documents identify the QA program requirements applicable te the order.
All of the items identified during the inspection are considered closed and the corrective actions will be reviewed during future NRC inspections.
