Occupational Radiation Exposure Reoort - 1997: Correction I Gentlemen:
In Reference (b). Maine Yankee submitted the Occupational Radiation Exposure I Report for 1997 in accordance with Technical Specification 5.7.1. Following a request from NRC's contractor, the report data was reviewed by Maine Yankee.
As a result, it was discovered that the report contained incorrect information. The incorrect information was caused by an incorrect reporting code criteria on the computer system used for tracking and recording dose.
This reporting code criteria added the estimated skin doses to the estimated whole body doses and reported that sum as the total estimated MAN REM for 1997. This code criteria has been corrected.
Enclosed is a correct Occupational Radiation Exposure Report for 1997. This table includes the work and job function categories that were in effect in 1997 under former Technical Specification 5.9.1.3.A (prior to Amendment No.
161) for completeness.
