The following report highlights the operating experience of Wolf Creek Generating Station for the month of May, 1988. This report is.being provided pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE i

The unit operated near 100 percent power throughout the month.

II.

MAJOR SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES 1.

Encapsulated one pressurizer spray valve.

2.

Replaced the mist eliminator filter and a hydraulic tubing elbow on one ibin Feedwater Isolation Valve.

3.

Replaced a power supply for one of the Steam Generator C level trips.

4.

Replaced an instrument isolation valve on Centrifugal Charging Pump A discharge pressure.

5.

Replaced the power factor meter on Diesel Generatot '.
