NUCLEAR PROJECT NO. 1 NRC STAFF'S SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT (NUREG 1231) ON THE I
B&W OWNERS' GROUP SAFETY PERFORMANCE IMPR0VEENT PROGRAM This letter is to acknowledge receipt of the subject Safety Evaluation Report (Nureg 1231 and Supplement No. 1) for the deferred WNP-1 Project.
Because of the long term deferred status of WNP-1 and the limited resources being applied, our evaluation and applicable implementation of the Owners' Group recommendations will be deferred until after construction restart.
When construction resumes we will develop a schedule for resolution of all the Owners' Group recomendations.
The schedule will be compatible with the licensing schedule.
