TRIP REPORT - INPO I attended and represented the NRC at three Accreditation Renewal Sork Sessions sponsored by INP0 in Atlanta during the period from March 1, 19 May 18, 1988. Enclosure (1) contains the AGENDA for each meeting. also attached a typical (accreditation) Renewal Schedule - Enclosure (2 I have , list of INPO Plant Accreditation Coordinators - Enclost.re (3), an illustrativ visit schedule - Enclosure (5). sample Accreditation SER - Enclosur My purpose for being at these work shops was to emphasize NRC interest in second round accreditation and to remind everyone of HRC's role in train program evaluation. I also participated on a panel of INP0 and facility representatives to answer questions from the general audience. in my prepared remarks included: Points I made - NRC REQUAL compatible with INPO Accreditation - Stress need for Industry to meet cormtitments to INPO - Emphasis on self-assessment as part of SAT-based training - Recognition of Control Room Resource Management importance - Open comunications, /3 John N.
