By letter dated August 21,1998, the NRC provided a Request for Additional Information (RAI) regarding the conversion to the Improved Technical Specifications (ITS) for Farley Nuclear Plant (FNP) Units 1 and 2. This RAI contained questions related to the review of j
ITS Sections 3.6 and 5.0 and identified a target date for SNC response of October 23,1998.
A conference call was held on September 23,1998, followed by a meeting in Washington, j
D.C. with NRC staff on October 14,1998, to discuss this RAI. As a result of these discussions, additional time will be needed to respond to this RAI. This letter revises the target date for SNC response to November 23,1998.
