Enclosed for NRC review and approval is Philadelphia Electric Ccmpany's (PECo) "Program for the Independent Design and Constructica Assessment of Limerick-Unit 2".
This submittal provides the additional details of the program' as discussed with the NRC Staff on May 24, 1988.
PECo understands that the NRC's Division of Reactor Inspection and infaguards will monitor the assessment process and review the Final Report as part of their evaluation of Limerick Unit 2 design and construction practices.
