Dear Mr. Murley:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, commonwealth Edison is hereby applying for an amendment to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-37, NPF-66, NPF ~2 and NPP-77, Appendix A, Technical Specifications. The purpose of this amendment is to revise a technical specification surveillance concerning diesel generators.
The particular surveillance involves rejecting the largest single load from the diesel generator. Attachment A contains the proposed change to surveil-lance requirement 4.8.1.1.2.f.2 and associated bases.
Attachment B contains background information regarding the proposed change.
The proposed technical specification change has been reviewed and approved by both On-Site and Off-Site review in accordance with Commonwealth Edison Company procedures. We have reviewed this amenthent in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92(c) and determined that no significant hazards consideration exists, our evaluation is documented in Attachment C.
Commonwealth Edison is notifying the State of 1111nois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.
