A routine safety inspection of your emergency preparedness program wt.s
conducted by Mr. C. Amato of this of fice on July 25, 1988 at the Buffalo
Materials Research Center, South Campus, Buffalo, New York.
Discussions of our
findings were held by Mr. Amato with Director L. Henry and another member of
the staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
inspection report which is enclosed. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records,
interviews with personnel and observations of the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. No reply
to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter is
appreciated.
