SUBJECT:
ALLEGATIONS RE: WELDING BY LKC AT BRAIDWOOD (50-456; 50-457)

On March 24, 1986, the Allegation Review Board met to discuss the subject allegation with regards to potential enforcement action. OI was again asked if an 01 investigation is required and they declined since there is no basis to reaffirm the DOL finding.
It is noted that OI previously declined to investigate in a memorandum to C. Weil from E. Pawlik dated December 16, 1985.
The Allegation Review Board also concluded that no further inspection is required by DRS.
P. Pelke was directed to review all of the available information and prepare a detailed Enforcement Board Briefing for the third Enforcement Board on this issue by April 11, 1986.
