SEALED SOURCE TYPE: Gauging' Source' DESCRIPTION:
The-Model TP source' capsule is designed for use in the Technical Operations Model 616 Air Operated'Pipeliner Exposure device.
The radioactive material is singly encapsulated in 304 or 316.
stainless ~ steel using a heltarc:(TIG)' welding technique.
PROTOTYPE TESTING:
This source has-a classification of E32212 as described in ANSI publication N5.10-1968. The manufacturer states that prototype
-sources have met the test criteria specified in the ANSI document.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL:
- Each source is visuallyLinspected after fabrication, then subjected;to a contamination: wipe leak test.
If'the wipe test indicates-contamination, then a hot water bubble test will be 1
performed.

NRC attempted to obtain copies of all information submitted.by the registrant in support of the evaluation.
However,'NRC could not locate all the
