9 PROTOTYPE TESTING:
This-source-has a classification of E32212, as described in ANSI publication N5.10-1968. The manufacturer states that prototype
. sources have met the test criteria specified in the ANSI document.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL:
Each source is visually inspected after fabrication, then j subjected to'a contamination wipe leak test. If the wipe test Lindicates contamination, then a hot water bubble test will be performed.
LIMITATIONS AND/On OTHER CONSIDERATIONS OF USE:
-The' device shall be possessed and used by persons specifically licensed Int the NRC or an Agreement State.

SUMMARY
The Model NPX source is no longer manufactured or distributed by Gamma Industries, Inc. and Gamma Industries, Inc. is no longer in business. Therefore, the registration certificate is being converted to an inactive registration certificate.
The source was originally approved for licensing purposes by the Louisiana Division of Radiation Control. NRC attempted to obtain copies of all information submitted by the registrant in support of the evaluation. However, NRC could not locate all the information. Therefore, no safety evaluation of the source was performed as part of the conversion of the certificate to inactive status, t
