Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP)
Report No. 70-1100/86-99 An NRC SALP Board conducted a review on August 30, 1988 to evaluate the performance of activities associated with your Windsor Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing facility.
The results of this asses <. ment are documented in the enclosed SALP Board report. A meeting will be scheduled to discuss this assessment.
That meeting is intended to provide a forum for candid discussions relating to your performance during the period.
At the meeting, you should be prepared to discuss our assessment and your plans to improve performance.
In particular, you should be prepared to discuss your planned actions relative to radiation protection, self-assessment of facility operation, and improvements in management controls including staffing.
Any comments you may have regarding our report may be discussed at the meeting. Additionally, you may provide written comments within 30 days after the meeting.
