Exercise Report of the November 20, 1985, Exercise of the Offsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plans for the kblf Creek Generating Station.

-Attached is a copy of the Exercise Report of the November 20,1985, joint exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness for the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Coffee County, Kansas. W e joint exercise was full participation for the State of Kansas and Coffee and Anderson Counties.

We report dated February 5, 1986, was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEM) Region VII.

fem Region VII has identified a deficiency regarding the Andarson County procedures for registration and radiological nonitoring of evacuees. We State of Kansas, Division ot Emergency Preparedness, has agreed to provide training and other technical support to the County as well as conduct a remedial exercise. We State has also agreed to ccrnplete its remedial action not later than 60 days frun the date of the exercise report. When this office has received and analyzed the report fran the Region on the remedial action taken by the State and the County, we will send you a copy.

In the November-20, 1985, exercise, there were other inadepacies identified as requiring corrective actions. We State of Kansas has received a copy of the exercise report and will be preparing schedules of corrective actions.

When they are received and analyzed we will send you copies.
