, g, n ,m March 1, 1988 Congressman Goodling, I have seen lawsuits in the Harrisburg Patriot-News concerning people who credit various health problems to the March 1979 accident at Three Mile Island. I also read a rather sensational (?) story in another publication about individuals whose skin turned red and farm animals dropping over dead on the day of the accident.
I am concerned about what actual health problems the general population in the South Central Pennsylvania Area did have on the day 1 of the accident that directly relate to the problem at Three Mile 1 Island. Also, has the Nuclear Regulatory Commission made any studies concerning future health risks to those people who were in the area on March 28, 19797 l
