!!RC STAFF l'OTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE RESPONSE..TO IllTERVENOF,t' GENERAL EXERCISE CONTENTIONS The NRC Staff hereby moves the Licensing Ecard pursuant to 10 C.F.R.
[E.711 and 10 C.F.R. I 2,700 for an extension of tin + from October 3,1980 to October 13, 1988 to file its response to the general exercise contentiens filed by the Massachusetts Attorney General, SAPL, NECNP, and the Town of Har.pton.
The Staff's motion is grounded on the volume and complexity of the prePosed general exercise contentiens and the Staff's 4
persennel limitetions, which together rake it unrealistic for the Staff to adequately responc te the Intervenors' contentions by the current deadline.
Counsel for the Applicant, Passachusetts Attorney General, SAFL, f;ECliP and the Town of Hacpton do not cbject to the Staff's extension request.
