We previously had.an opportunity to. review draft policies.being proposed by "the Office of Investigations (01).
Recently, we were afforded another
' opportunity to consnent on. certain proposed policies which had been revised by OI to reflect the comments of the Comission.
This latter review.
included comments from regional and program offices.
1 Many of our comments, both on.the original proposals and the four recent E
revisions,.wcre adopted by 01 and are reflected in the approved or proposed
-policies.. Those coments are not addressed here.
There are instances.
J however, in which our coments were not incorporated in the proposed OI policies or Investigative Procedure Memoranda (IPM) (December 22, 1982 L
- memorandum from Fitzgerald to the Comission on Commission Action on 01 Policy Proposals), or in which we believe that the intent of the policies needs clarification.
I am providing those comments for your information.
