GENERIC LETTER 83-28 REVIEW - LIMERICK Generic Letter 83-28 was issued in response to the Salem ATWS events of February 1983. In the Generic Letter, the staff requested that recipients provide the status of current conformance with the positions contained in the generic letter. The Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) responded in a series of letters.

Region I is requested to review the enclosed portions of the PECo responses dated Nov. 10, 1983, for items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and May 8, 1984, for item 4.5.1. The review should consist of a cor..plete Safety Evaluation and a SALP input. The TACS and MPA numbers and the Lead NRR Project Managers for these items are as follows:
