UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT BERKELEY OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM The staff of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has completed its review and evaluation of the University of California at Berkeley Operator and Senior Operator Requalification Program (Revision 3) that you submitted en July 21, 1988. The program was reviewed by a subject matter expert who has determined that the revisions submitted are consistent with the current condition of the reactor.

Based on its review, the staff concludes that the University of California at Berkeley Operator and Senior Operator Requalification Program meets the requirements of the regulations and is, therefore, acceptable. We request that you begin to implement your approved program immediately.
