SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-483/98-20
Dear Mr. Randolph:
From August 17 through September 4,1998, a corrective action inspection was conducted at
_' your Callaway Plant reactor facility. The results of this inspection were discussed with you and
other members of your staff during the exit meeting. The enclosed report presents the scope
and results of that inspection. The team found that the Callaway Plant had a good corrective
action program and that conditions adverse to quality were, for the most part, being effectively
identified, resolved, and corrected.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them
with you.
