Areas Inspected: Safeguards Contingency Plan and Implementing Procedures [

during a planned site security program exercise. The inspection involved 8 inspector hours onsite by one NRC region-based inspector who was accompanied by a representative from the NRC's office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards.

Results: The exercise was comprehensive and the licensee's planned objectives were accomplished.

During this inspection, the inspector and the NRC Physical Security Licensing Reviewer from the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safe-guards (NMSS) observed a planned Safeguards Contingency Plan Exercise conducted by the licensee. The exercise included the participation of both onsite and offsite personnel. The inspector determined that the i exercise achieved the desired performance objectives. Lessons learned

! were critiqued after the exercise and future exercises will be scheduled.
