SEQUOYAH UNIT 2 RESTART The Director, Office of Special Projects authorized power escalation above 75% power for Sequoyah Unit 2 on May 28, 1988 at 6:15 p.m. Following completion of routine surveillance, the licensee achieved 100% power operation on May 31, 1988 at 2:00 a.m. Power will remain at 100% for at least 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> in order to complete a final fuel conditioning soak. Following completion of that evolution, the licensee is considering power operation at a reduced level in order to extend the current fuel cycle thereby extending the subsequent refueling outage beyond Unit 1 startup.
