This is in reference to your telephone call to Gary Sanborn of my staff on August 12,1998, in response to the letter and Notice of Violation sent to you on July 22,1998. Although the letter j
transmitting the Notice of Violation stated that no response was required, you requested a l
clarification because the enclosed Notice of Violation stated that you were required to submit a j
written response.
The letter was correct. You are not required to submit a response unless you choose to do so, as indicated in the July 22 letter. I am sending you a corrected Notice of Violation to make it i
consistent with our letter and to make it clear to you that you are not required to submit a response.
