This letter is to notify you of the January 17, 1986, action of the Southeast  !

Compact Commission in placing a limited ban on the exportation of low-level  :

radioactive wastes generated by licensees in Southeast Compact party States. '

This ban becomes effective March 1, 1986. The enclosed letter defines the '

parameters of the ban.
