and the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD) on the staff's review and recommendations relating to naturally-occurring and accelerator-produced radioactive

The Commission requested and the staff committed to revise its recommendations to CIRRPC by redefining the scope of review (e.g., not including the general subject of ionizing radiation) and defining the issues to be addressed in the recommendations expected from CIRRPC (e.g., any recommendations for legislative action, identifying agency responsibilities over all or some subset of NARM, etc.).

6/24/88) i The Commission requested and the General Counsel committed to provide an analysis of the legal situation if EPA under its authority, such as TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act), directs that NARM material be disposed of in low-level burial grounds, whether in an Agreement State or in a non-Agreement State.
