Pursuant to the guidance in reference (b), Vermont Yankee hereby certifies

that its licensed operator initial and continuing (requalification) training was j
accredited in April 1986 by the Accrediting Board of the National Academy for Nuclear Training and is based upon a systems approach to training (as defined by 1
the Academy and 10 CFR 55).
Accordingly, we intend to amend our FSAR later this 1
year with a similar certification.
