The route from Lambert's Point, Norfolk, Virginia to the Department of Energy Savannah River Plant, including the transient ports of Port Elizabeth, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland, as requested in your letter is judged to meet the regulatory requirements in accordance with 10 CFR 73.37 for ship-ment of spent fuel under import license ISNM-81017 and is approved through December 31, 1988. In the event your carrier is required to deviate from the approved route, please call the contact listed on page 2 of this letter as soon i as possible providing the details. 1 Arrangements with law enforcement agencies along the route as required by 10 CFR 73.37 (a)(2) have been completed by the NRC staff.
