Nimitz, Senior Radiation Specialist 2.0 Meeting Summary This meeting was a licensee requested meeting to discuss planning and preparation for the upcoming refueling outage and station Radiological Controls Program performance. Items discussed included: radiological controls planning and preparation, staffing, exposure control and goals and control of contractors.

The licensee also discussed Radiological Controls Program performance over the past three years and compared selected Radiological Controls ,

2 Program performance indicators for similar vintage reactors and Maine Yankee.

i 3.0 Concluding Remarks The licensee stressed that management attention is directed to the i Radiological Controls Program and action is being taken to improve radiological controls during the upcoming outage to address NRC and licensee findings identified during the last outage. ,

! NRC management stated that program improvements would be reviewed during the upcoming outage.
