The Commission met with the staff to discuss the status of the Integrated Safety Assessment Program, ISAP, for operating nuclear power plants.
Commissioner Asselstine requested the staff to identify the fees collected from the plants involved in the ISAP pilot program that are related to the program and consider cost recovery possibilities for future ISAP activities.

The staff promised to provide an analysis of ISAP to the Commission by Fall, 1986.

The staff further promised to provide an annual report to the Commission that includes a discussion of the present NRC resources utilized in ISAP and a projection of completion of the ISAP as applied to Haddam Neck and Millstone 1, the plants involved in the pilot program.
