Docket No. LRP ASLBP No. 86-519-02 SP
Dear Chairman Kelley and Judges Lright and Kline:
In its February 14, 1986 Memorandum and Order in this Docket, the Presiding Board directed the attorneys for twenty-six intervening employees to answer several questions directed at potential conflicts of interest.
One question was directed at fee arrangements those attorneys might have with GPUN or any other entity having an interest in the outcome of this inquiry.
We do not represent any of the l
twenty-six employees referred to by the Board, but in light of the Board's questions, we wish to bring it to your atten-tion that GPUN is paying the fees of our client, John G.
)
Herbein.
This office has represented Mr. Herbein for several years in TMI-related proceedings, and GPUN has paid our fees.
At all times, we have represented Mr. Herbein in an inde-pendent, zealous, and professional fashion.
GPUN has never attempted to exert any influence over our judgment, nor would we ever bow to such an attempt.
