ORDER (Ruling on the Motions of the Town of Hampton, New Hampshire) i

1. On February 21, 1986, the Town of Hampton filed (a) Motion to Extend Deadline for Filing Contentions on Evacuation Time Study, and (b)
Motion to Establish Hearing Location for Public Hearings. One response was received from the NRC Staff on March 4, 1986. The NRC Staff opposed i

both Motions and urged denial.

2. The Motion to Extend Deadline for Filing is denied. Neither the Board nor any party to the proceeding has received any evacuation  ;

time study from the State of New Hampshire. We decline to either advise parties or grant relief on a matter not properly before us.

3. Motion to Establish a Hearing Location is viewed by the Board as urging the Board to select the movant's home site to the exclusion of other considerations affecting a hearing site selection. The Board's l

selection of a site is governed by the provisions of 10 CFR I 2.703(b) andAppendixAI(a).I The Motion is denied.
