Implementaten of Amendment 133 is complete with the excepte that GGNs has not at this time decided to switch from the previous response time testing methods to the new methods. until such time that GGNs decides to switch methods, there remain procedure changes and training (described above) to be completed bsfore the new method may be used. l assigned commitment tracking numbers 32915 and 32916. It is important to note l

that although procedure revisions have not been made, there is no impact on l

sensor response times. In the Technical Specification Bases it essentially states that if the alternate testing requirements are not complied with, then the entire I

channel will be response time tested including the sensors. We also stated in the letter requesting the relaxation of response time testing (GNRO-97/00037, dated May 7,1997) that applicable calibration procedures will be revised as necessary prior to the next performance of the procedure or discontinuance of the present response time testing method. If we can be of any assistance on this matter, l

please contact Mike Larson at 601-437-6685.
