Strategic Reform Initiatives (SRIs) and associated work plans are described in the referenced letter. Action Step 10 of the work plan fot Strategic Reform Initiative

NGG-3, " Ensure Excellence in Plant Material Condition," stated that the Perfonnance Centered Maintenance (PCM) program would be implemented at all sites by August 30,1998.

During the Commonwealth Performance Oversight Panel (CPOP) meeting held with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on June 30,1998, representatives of Comed stated that any missed milestones in the SRI work plans would be identified to the h%C.

At the next CPOP meeting held on September 14.1998, representatives of Comed informed the NRC that NGG-3, Action Step 10 was not completed on schedule at the L

Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station. Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station is proceeding to implement the PCM program and expects that Action Step 10 will be completed by the end of May,1999.
