REFERENCES NOT FOUND IN FILE in the process of transferring several of FEMA's registration certificates to inactive status it was discovered that a number of items which had been referenced in the original registration certificates were not in the background file. These included the following:

Federal Civil Defense Administration Standard Item Specification dated May 23,1958, for the Model CDV-786.
2.
Office of Civil and Defense Mobilization letter dated April 6,1959, stating that the CDV-784 was to replace the CDV-786.
