SEQUOYAH UNIT 2 RESTART The Director, Office of Special Projects, authorized entry into Mode 2 for Sequoyah Unit 2 at 4:34 a.m. on May 12, 1988 and TVA comenced withdrawal of shutdown banks and RCS dilution. TVA achieved 1200 ppm boron concentration at 2:30 a.m. on May 13, 1988. After reviewing overall plant status and briefing the NRC restart team, TVA commenced its approach to criticality. Criticality occurred at 12:20 p.m. on May 13, 1988.
